I'm not saying you are definitely a literal bot. I actually have never seen any indication that the weird accounts on Lemmy are literal bots, instead of bad-faith actors of some other description. But I've also *never* seen a human person make this type of mistake, where there's one particular word that gets a bunch of emphasis (in this case "fixed") but the person gets it backwards whether I said it *was* "fixed" or it *wasn't* "fixed". That is on the other hand the exact type of mistake that LLMs tend to make. It's a weird little hole in their predictive-text-ness, that they pick up which symbols have a lot of emphasis but miss out on the semantic content of which is the *meaning* behind the emphasis that they have. by PhilipTheBucket@ponder.cat reason: unproductive, chill out |
