Sources say the shark warned the woman, saying “American woman, stay away from me.”

Paddle boarding 1.2 km from shore… isn’t that a bit far out for just a meat popsicle on a fish-shaped piece of styrofoam?

Trying to decide on a honeymoon destination right now. The Bahamas is no longer on that list.

Dude, they just had a shark attack. That means statistically they aren’t due for another one for like thirty years. This is the best time to go. Just don’t go back for your thirtieth.

You’re both falling for gambler’s fallacy. This instance doesn’t make shark attacks in general any more or less likely.

Well, it might be affected by how many stars the shark gives the meal, but the human meat industry and their opponents game website reviews so much these days it’ll probably be drowned out by all the fake reviews.

Ackshualllllllly, a shark is less likely to attack right after eating due to being full. Checkmate.

Its not gamblers fallacy if the first poster has their honeymoon in a desert instead, much less chance of a shark attack :D

Which country has the most shark attacks?

The U.S. continues to lead the way globally with by far the most shark attacks – 41 confirmed cases in 2022, a drop from 47 in 2021. That is, amazingly, 72% of the total worldwide attacks for the year.
