This is everyone’s problem. Donald Trump is openly conspiring with the State of Texas to steal the 2026 midterms through the legal corruption of gerrymandering. This is an off-census redistricting which is unnecessary, unusual, and obviously for nefarious reasons. Texas democrats have fled the state to prevent quorum, which removes the ability for Texas to complete this coup de gras of the entire United States. This will have an extremely harmful effect on national politics if Texas is allowed to do this.
So much for Illinois Dems stepping up I guess. Not enough guest bedrooms to go around?
I mean they are being fined 500$ a day. Thats what 25000$ a day in total? That’s a significant amount of money.
If only Illinois had a billionaire politician with a desire for national prominence and eyes on higher office.
