Palantir stock is skyrocketing, driven by huge government contracts for immigrant tracking and mass surveillance. It’s the best performing stock on the S&P this year, ahead of Nvidia, Uber, Starbucks, Coca Cola, and Bank of America.

For many institutional investors like commercial banks and hedge funds, the company’s foreboding image is not a sticking point; it’s a selling point.

The only profit model left for AI/big tech to put off the bubble popping is selling the means to obscure culpability in violence.

This is a safe haven for silicon valley because the more broken, complex and wasteful their tools are the more useful they are as camouflage for obscuring fascism.

Palantir is the only business model silicon valley has left that it can rely on. In all the other ones the broken promise of AI is a liability.

Personal incentives for innovation might be the only plus side of profit. That’s why that’s the only asset they talk about. It destroys lives in so many ways.
