i remember reading Thelsim posting about the difficulty of generating centaurs. I tried many times and i too failed. So, this week, the challenge is a real challenge: There should be a clear depiction of a centaur in your entry. No other conditions, you’re free to choose the context.

Voting process

Everyone can submit their image to this post. At the end of the week all images will be collected and shared in a new voting post wherein people can vote on their favorite image. This will be up for at least 24 hours before a winner is made.

There are no extra points to be earned; OP will decide on a winner in case of a tie.

  • Embed image directly in the post (no external link)
  • Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged but not required (we’re all here for fun and learning)
  • OP will declare winner in case of a tie
  • The challenge runs for about a week.
  • Downvotes will not be counted
  • Voting and final scoring will be done in a separate post.

        Trust me, there were a lot of failures before I got lucky with this one :)

        My favorite wrong one was this one:

        I thought to be clever by explaining that a centaur has the lower body of a horse and the upper body of a human 🙄

        I also tried asking Mistral the same question and it got a bit confused:

        The only one to get it right in one go was the NovelAI model:

        But that one is pretty much trained exclusively on anime art, so I’m guess there’s a ton of centaurs in that training set :)

          Might be a theme to try with one of these Pony model… but not sure I want to see the result
