When I was in a situation where I couldn’t play any games I wanted, I would watch no commentary, 100% playthroughs of my games so I could see all the content they have.
Yes, it’s not the same as actually playing it, but it’s better than not ever seeing what the game is about.

Been playing a heavily-modded playthrough of Minecraft. Am enjoying building up my world to look alive.
I’ve been using Arch (BTW) for a few years now. I would only consider switching to something non-Arch if they started enshittifying like Windows. I don’t see that happening though.
How is Tenacity compared to Audacity? Are plugins implemented in tenacity, and if so, do audacity plugins work in tenacity?
Pretty good. Some games have issues on Linux, especially some that don’t have native controls for DualShock 4 controllers and not using Steam Input. Even the ones that do sometimes dont work without Steam Input on (which shows XBOX buttons).
I’ve only had actual crashes with Forza Horizon 4 and 5 on Linux. Everything else works fine.
Distro is Arch Linux (BTW).
As to why I swapped, I get better performance on Linux than on Windows.
