BastingChemina@slrpnk.netto solarpunk memes@slrpnk.net•facts don't care about your feelings, redcaps3·1 day agoFrom what I understand, the insurance business model is to transform individual unpredictable events into very predictable statistics.
A house burning down ? As an individual it is devastating, it’s a lifetime of savings that burn away. For the insurance company, it’s part of the statistics.
The problem of climate change is that it brings unpredictability at the insurer scale.

Meaning that with one big pot of chili you can have 3-4 different meals without having the feeling of eating the same thing over and over.
I usually make a big pot and then the first day we can make burritos with tortilla shells, the next day nachos, you can eat it with rice, a baked potato use it as a base for soup or make vegetarian burger patties with it.

The game is a piece of art and the soundtrack plays a big part of it.
Use fish as your command line shell, it’s doing exactly that and way more.

Fairphone with normal Android is just like any other android phone. The only difference for a normy would be the transparent back that you can pop open.
