have you already seen a scarlet tanager or rose breasted grosbeak?
Option 3: Garlicky pickled green tomatoes
Option 4: Green tomato chutney
Glad you cut that negativity out of your life, you deserve better
I had a boss who would say “spit it out” like I was trying to choose my words carefully rather than trying to snatch the words as they fled, made it so frustrating to talk to him
I like this take on it. I’ve just been calling it my “if you give a mouse a cookie” mode
In this case it is thankfully placed in an obvious spot. I was speaking more in general because they’re not always that easy to find.
My parents have one of these, and it drives me nuts when I visit. I understand that feature on something like an oven where it’s still cooking. But the microwave stopped. Nothing’s going to burn. So stop rushing me!
Sniff test then drink. Who’s got the time/patience to play iSpy with the date stamp?
Great photos! I think cheeky sparrow Sundays should be a recurring thing
Does it usually come from the same number or numbers? If so, I’d block it/them and move on.
You tried your best to get them to at least contact her for updated information. Blocking the number(s) means you no longer see the confirmations and such. The only issue down the road would be you won’t get your own confirmations if you ever book with them and use that phone number.
Did you knit it for him? It’s such a great color!
“It’s just 3 things, plus that other one that happens on the way to #2 anyway, no need to write a list”
I struggle with this as well. Sometimes I let myself go into what I call “if you give a mouse a cookie” mode and do the things as they pop into my mind instead of following the list. It’s nice to not have to spend energy trying to keep my brain on task.
But usually I try to stick to my list. Things get on the list because either there’s an imminent deadline or it’s been bothering me and taking up too much of my mental bandwidth.
I’m guessing they mean dextroamphetamine
I spent probably 10 seconds looking for the feline in the bottom left before the light bulb went off
I kept thinking “don’t do it, you’ll hit the ceiling” while she was planning, but she obviously knows her limits much better because she made it look easy
I always write myself a list of things to do in a day that’s so long I’d never get all of them done in a year. Yet the next time I make my to do list it’s just as long.
I’m trying to switch to making a “brain dump” list and then pick 3 things from there as my “to do.” It’s really hard to stick to my limit of 3. And if I get one done to I find I want to add a new thing so items 3 again, but that defeats the purpose of the limit.
That face says, “You put anything on for me?”
They do love thistle. I always smile when I hear their “po-ta-to chip” call overhead.
