Unfortunately it’s the kind of server where people still use Pepe very casually, which is pretty cringe-worthy to me but it’s just accepted here, so pointing out Pepe’s fascist connotations is a weak argument for me to make, sadly. Even so, it’s obvious to me that even in that kind of context, using “Crusader Pepe” not just casually but making it your profile pic is a big enough red flag for me to feel the need to point it out. The conversations move, they’re pleasant enough, I have plenty to say. I’m not surprised she’s not picking up on a problem. The problem is entirely on my end, in that as the appointments happen I’m feeling like I’m not getting much out of it because the questions she asks are things I already challenge myself with all the time. Maybe I should say this to her directly before giving up and moving on.

Idk what I’m supposed to get out of therapy. I talk to someone who asks me the same questions I constantly ask myself, and… what? Anhedonia still here with no improvements, several appointments later.

Was almost in a fatal car crash today. As in, I noticed the light was green a little late and started going, and another car went through the intersection at easily over 60mph so late that other cars had come to a complete stop and had been sitting there for a few full seconds, at the perfect timing to annihilate my side of the vehicle if I had started moving right when the light was green, and not seen that someone was speeding through the intersection.

Just another day living in America in 2025. This instance was particularly bad, but I see some wild shit straight up almost every single time I have to drive somewhere for more than 10 minutes. Only a matter of time before I get hit by someone, and it wouldn’t be the first time.

Really smart stuff, folks. Only way for a civilized society to function. It’s actually both necessary and cool that my step mom died at an intersection, just like I easily could have today. Fully acceptable. No better way for things to work.
