For some perhaps and it’s great that you found it to be the case. Genetics and lifestyle play a big part as well though. Some people really struggle to shift any weight with much more extreme changes.

I always though with Farscape, spending time in that universe and interacting with all the mental space shit (plus all the stuff with his brain) made Crighton justifiably unhinged. He plays it fairly straight in the first few episodes.
