Yes, it’s a rule likely based on amount and likelihood to recoup. There’s no incentive to go after people who know how to cheat the system. You gotta go after the folks who don’t know how to fight back.
I was gonna save JD Vance and then sell him to Peter Thiel but I like yours better.

I don’t know the answer but I do know that I enjoy a live concert or play because of the talent on display. There’s something special about seeing it happen in real time. I think real art might point to something similar.

Then come up with a plan to educate conservatives. Because this thing where the state legislates new norms (e.g. bio men in bio women’s sports) is NOT making sense to them. They are freaking out because they don’t understand it. And we can’t just make laws to make them accept it.
From their perspective they are losing their country. We can laugh and call them backwards, but that won’t help. There HAS to be a plan that is better than, f-you wake up.

I completely missed what they were pointing at in Interstellar and thought they butchered the idea that Amy Adams was caught in her own frame of how she understood her experience of time.
I am sure that’s my problem, but I truly wonder how anyone was supposed to appreciate the movies without internalizing the critical theories

Homescool@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Laura Loomer goes off on Elon Musk advising Trump — calls out his ‘off the books’ meetings with Iranian and Chinese officials14·7 个月前Honestly, I’m surprised this didn’t happen four or even eight years ago. They’re all grifters and you can pay them to push any message. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was being fed money from some ultra leftist group just to cause chaos.
The law doesn’t matter unless the president says it does. We can disagree but it doesn’t matter until he is removed.
EOs are far more powerful because they trigger actual action by federal agencies.
It may not be how we learned it in Social Studies, but this is the streets.
