I’ve lived my entire life in commie blocks and unless my neighbours were renovating I had no issue with noise. However, new apartment building here do have that problem, and it is very noticeable, so maybe the issue isn’t with the concept of an apartment by itself, just the materials used in building them. Yup, there’s plenty of time to have fun if you don’t have to manage lil’ ones.
