Weird, I’ve always told people “drive home safe” because of how many car accidents happen at night that are also lethal.
(I bicycle A LOT too BTW, this isn’t a dig. Cars just kill people all the time)
It was banned from movie theaters upon release in my area. I never even saw trailers for it – finding out it was banned and especially given the theme of the movie (how the dystopian government banned literature and burned books) made me want to watch it even more.
“I have persisted so long, I am the horror now.”
“What?”
“What?”
“By the way, sniper”

Corrupt idiots in politics – “I’m sorry I got caught”
Not to be that person, but my parents are completely incapable of comprehending this.
Not intellectually, but pragmatically and philosophically. They’re like 60 years old, and even if it affects them in their lifetime, they’ll be “dead in 20 years”.
And on a low level, they’re kind of right because most ordinary people aren’t to blame for this, so shaming “parents” makes no sense.
Shame the international petroleum conglomerates, plastic producers, shipping, etc. You know, the actual emitters in the billions of gigatons.

I’m with you here brother. I play a lot of VR and I’ve got prescription lenses. Nothing is more horrible than getting a smudge on them with your eyelashes or eyelid and wondering why the left half of your peripheral vision is blurry.
