Might not be far off. Sometimes that gutter mind pays off😄

I accidently got cornered by it so I couldn’t progress till I beat trumpet dude due to how it would reload (assuming i’m thinking of the same guy). I probably fought that bastard 15 times before I beat it. I’ll say I REALLY like the game. It’s absolutely beautiful and i’m loving the slow release of the lore. Even the battles (that can be really frustrating) are great because you can get absolutely wrecked 10 times, but then get the timings down and absolutely dominate the bastard. It’s really simple, but also real rewarding, I find.

It was my first time playing, but I can’t imagine scaling up the experience from there to some of the bosses I’ve fought since, all without dodge/parry.

I can’t imagine how they beat the game without dodging and I can’t imagine it was fun.

Numberone@startrek.websiteto Fuck Cars@lemmy.ml•This woman needs a psychological examination9·6 months agoI know 2 people, completely separate and accross the country from each other that have wrecked due to autopilot failures or errors or whatever. I know this is ultimately anecdotal, but it really seems like Tesla isn’t putting up pretty good numbers given my horizon.

The new one has a remote control and apps, which I always thought were missing from the minimalist Chromecast family of products. So look at us, now we have a shitty roku when all we wanted was a device that I could send things to from my phone. Needed and wanted nothing more, but I got it. My tone is muddled here, so I’ll make it clear that it’s worse than it used to be, and I’m annoyed I was forced to pay to downgrade.

They never said “people watched children be exploded on twitter or Insta”. That could be due to user preference or whatever, but as an outsider, I have the ambient notion that more of this kind of content was coming from tiktok.
More concretely, in a lot of the stuff that came out of the twitter files, it’s clear that the US government does have, what I would classify as, inappropriate contact with american social media companies that can controle narratives. Without saying something with absolute certainty, the statement he’s making sounds pretty reasonable.
Also nothing is just one thing, there’s probably a ton going on.

Numberone@startrek.websiteto Games@lemmy.world•Day 163 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post ScreenshotsEnglish4·8 months agoJust finished it for the first time, have been telling all my friends about it. There’s something about how messy the lore is. Some collectables don’t tell you anything except shape the atmosphere of the oldest house, which is so nice. It was so beautiful too. Really good low flying game. I’m gonna definitely check out some other titles by this studio. I’ve played AW 1 and loved the connections to that. Just a real surprising 10/10 for me.
Never sure, with that one😆
Numberone@startrek.websitetoUnited States | News & Politics@midwest.social•Activist says trans people can’t trust Democrats to protect them anymore7·8 months agoYeah, I think dems don’t take equality seriously at all. The cultural equality stuff they parrot is to distract from the fact that they’ll never do anything to change the biggest inequality in the US, wealth and class. Even if it’d Freudian, in that they can point and say “see there? I want an equitable society” while ignoring the wealth inequality that is, statistically speaking, doing well for the college educated base they now encompass.

Oh. I hadn’t considered this. Devastating…
It helps when their brain isn’t actively dripping out of their ears😁. But yeah, wouldn’t you rather have someone who you actually agree with that’s old? Besides, Bernie would have won 2016 if anything, he was almost a decade younger at that point.
Almost like Clinton should have run a real campaign in MI😃. Stop running unpopular candidates and blaming it on greens. How embarassing lol.
I don’t think that someone is talking about using BTC or ETH. They’re literally unusable to make purchases (multiple minute settling times and the high costs you mentioned) but any other functional L1 would work. Algorand for examply has ~3second block times with instant finality and costs a fraction of a fraction of a cent to use the network. Those fees couple be subsidised they’re so low. They’re significantly lower than a rail like Visa or MasterCard. But you’re right, implementing it so anyone can easily use and access it is key.
