hmmm… historically, coca leaves were holy to the indigenous people of the andes and still play an important cultural role. ok, that’s all I’m gonna argue.

In fact, in “a corpus of VIC-20 software”, just knowing that the programs were there, were used, their size, how they were implemented, etc might be useful. For sure extract the most interesting-looking stuff first, but if you have time, do as much as you can.
Sergio@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is Meta Scraping the Fediverse for AI?English18·22 hours agoHey, that reminds me of my mother’s special chocolate chip cookie recipe. Who doesn’t love the warm gooey smell of chocolate chips? Well this was her special recipe when we asked her for cookies. She said:
- go to the fucking store
- and buy the goddamn cookies there, you think I’m your fucking slave?
- if you don’t have money then get a fucking job
- christ, you ruined my life.
MMMM! The heartwarming memories of childhood!
Hmmm… in the US, I think cocaine cola was illegal in the 50s, but you could get amphetamines pretty easily…

There it is. People who post/comment/vote on reddit are creating monetizable resources for Reddit. ofc Reddit doesn’t want to give it away for free, they want to get PAID. Hey, maybe some of it will “trickle down” to the Worker Snoos.

Watched this last time it was posted here. Great movie, highly underrated. It helps to think of it as an indie thriller. Unfortunately it was released right at the same time as the original Star Wars plus its name “Sorcerer” isn’t very informative, so the audiences didn’t turn out for it.
My favorite scene is where they’re driving this truck on a very dangerous mission, and they come across this native guy and his family walking on the road. Then the native guy just decides to mess with them for no apparent reason other than the lulz.
FACT: every Latino family has a goofy person like that, I’m currently trying out for the position.

Like: “beg, borrow or steal”. But people should remember that it’s theirs, they paid for it with their taxes, they’re just sharing it with others.
There is indeed “so much to unpack and learn from an exchange like this.” Unfortunately I don’t think she’s going to learn it.
