Maybe I just am using it wrong, but DDG consistently gives me completely irrelevant results, while Google still gives me what I’m looking for about 70% of the time. Maybe I just need to learn the proper way to search with DDG but so far it’s been next to useless in finding me relevant info.

My LG TV (not connected to the internet) lets you disable all startup icons and sounds. It goes from off to on in about 2 seconds and goes straight to the last used input. I think I’ve seen the home screen once in the 8 months that I’ve had it.

Just a correction, there isn’t anything limiting how “far” we can see our into the universe except our limited technology. And even then we are very close. We’re only limited by how old our universe is, as it takes light that long to travel to us from the edge of the expanding universe. The furthest we can possibly see would be about 300,000 years after the big bang, when light was finally able to travel unimpeded throughout the universe.

They’re going back to battlefield 4 for this one. Honestly I haven’t been this excited for a pvp game in years, possibly since Titanfall 2. The gameplay they’ve been showing off looks incredibly fun.

Not necessarily. Societal factors play a huge role in how relationships with other people are formed. Places where people can naturally make deep lasting friendships are hard to come by right now. And just because two people are lonely does not mean they will make good friends. That would be wonderful if it was true, but there is more to building a friendship than just “I don’t have a friend and you don’t have a friend.”

Our society has a tendency to look at issues like this and say “well that just sounds like it’s all their own fault” without taking the thought further. WHY is this happening to so many people? And what can we do to better prepare young men to make lasting friendships and support each other more? The reason this has become more and more of an issue is specifically because people just put the blame on individuals, who don’t feel like they have the tools or opportunities to fix these issues. Then all it takes is for right wing propaganda to say “hey here is where the issue is, it’s because of feminism! You were right! It’s not your fault!” And because they are the only ones telling them that men are moving to the right in droves.

Racism is almost always generalities, that aren’t addressed to an individual person. Why does anyone get upset at racism?

If you want the model M just for it’s feel you should check out Unicomp keyboards. They make modernized versions that feel identical according to a friend who uses one. Although they are way more expensive than 10 dollars.
