cryptTurtle@piefed.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When you make toast with peanut butter do you butter the toast first?English3·9 days agoBlackberries are supposed to have natural pectin in them. You could be straining them too much and removing the natural pectin from the juice. Idk worth experimenting with I’d say
We do add butter to ours to help reduce the amount of foaming during the boiling process. So that might have something to do with it too

My partner recently got into making blackberry jam and we dont have issues with liquidity. Maybe the jam needs to be dehydrated more before it’s canned?
cryptTurtle@piefed.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When you make toast with peanut butter do you butter the toast first?English31·11 days agoI butter the pan when I toast my bread. After that I normally just use whatever topping of the day (peanut butter, jam, etc). I’ve found that pan toasting is really the only way to get your toast perfect. Toaster ovens just end up wasting counter space you could otherwise use for something you can’t achieve with a pan

Additionally that statute was amended as of May this year. Starting in November the process now requires parental agreement. Further it adds the

is used. That seems like a step in the right direction though of course it doesn’t address OP’s concerns around the age of consent

The kids there were trying to touch the monitors to play the game. They didn’t grab the keyboard and mouse. They didn’t touch the controller. They touched the monitor. People’s framework of what a computer is and what it’s made of is completely different than what it use to be

I put it in quotes because honestly I’ve seen all kinds of definitions thrown around. The conversation seems to often become a substitute for pro-LLM tools and anti-LLM tools. I think it’s more about how you use it and who controls it.

It’s like weirdly bitter sweet too? Like I always thought I could just discover the right productivity system or find the right way to structure my life to make things work as well as my friends. Had to finally accept that maybe things weren’t okay, maybe things aren’t normal, and maybe getting help is okay
