I never in my life saw this happening until I moved to Australia.

TheHunter: call of the wild is the slowest fps I’ve ever played, its luxuriously chill. Mostly walking through beautifully executed forests during different weather and times of day to spot a group of deer drinking at a lake and then tryna shoot em all before they bolt off. Then the rest of the time is chasing down the blood trail to confirm the kill and get money to buy new weapons. Multiplayer and single player

It’s so good, you’ll never go back to any other adapter ever again.
grooving@lemmy.studioto World News@lemmy.ml•EU to impose retaliatory 25% tariffs on US goods from almonds to yachts2·4 months agoThere is an interesting back and forth though I guess. Say from the American point of view you have almonds. EU is like tax them so people won’t want them here. But all the Americans are like damn, why euro almonds so expensive. And they’ll stick to us almonds. I guess theoretically the real winner will be the environment with less shipping containers being sent everywhere…but that also seems unlikely at this point. The spice must flow
grooving@lemmy.studioto World News@lemmy.ml•EU to impose retaliatory 25% tariffs on US goods from almonds to yachts3·4 months agoGive tax discounts on euro goods. Economy grows in Europe and still hurts the states by decreasing its imports.
Maybe I’m not really understanding what’s going on. But it seems everyone in the states and the rest of the world is pissed off by these tarrifs. So how is adding more tarrifs making the situation better? Can someone explain that to me? What am I missing?
I’m in Australia, so I’m not taking sides.

I think the term you are looking for is stank face. It happens naturally when you appreciate it. Obviously happens more in musicians due to their already innate general draw to music

grooving@lemmy.studioto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are custom molded earplugs worth the extra cost?1·5 months agoI use Pacific ears in Australia. But ultimately it’s going to be the exact same product. Just moulded silicone. So what ever is cheapest. But if you want filters they might be more brand specific, but I don’t really know. In Australia there aren’t many options as far as I could find.
grooving@lemmy.studioto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are custom molded earplugs worth the extra cost?2·5 months agoPacific ears pro 17 in Australia. There is a url in another comment I made.
grooving@lemmy.studioto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are custom molded earplugs worth the extra cost?20·5 months agoBro. Hell to the yes. Generic are itchy and irritating. Custom silicone fits perfect. You can get them with different interchangable filters. Mine are for people working at music venues so it dips all sound by 17db but the voice frequency is dipped by 11db. So I can continue to hear people fine but all the loud noises and especially bass and room ambience is gone. I wear them to bed and nearly all the time when I just go outside because I live next to a busy road. Best thing I’ve bought in the last 5 years.
The filters get expensive if you want to get a bunch of different ones, like there is one out there for gun fire. So guns get lowered but you can still hear talking. Filters for road rumble and wind noise for motorcyclists. People that work at like F1 have specific filters too. It’s kinda wild to me now that people are just raw dogging reality with their ears. Ambiance passing, it doesn’t hurt. Someone hurling insults at you on the street. Sounds like they’re whispering under their breath. Is it expensive, yes(less so during black Friday). Would I pay full price for them again. Also yes.
Any questions let me know.

This lore makes more sense than the bible.
My bathroom has no window, and sometimes I shower in the dark with a tiny little nightlight on. It takes the visual distraction out and lets me seep even deeper into flow state. I prefer my bathroom this way. However a window for ventilation would be nice. But I just run the fan for an extra 15-20 minutes after I shower and it’s been fine.
