But in the real world you probably don’t need more precision than 333.3 anyway.

If you really need that level of precision for some reason you can just write 1/3m as a fraction.
I expect it goes like this: Electricity is real and does things, yet it’s so mysterious and unseen! Just like god!

Not a fun experience. But then I played it after 2.0 came out and now I have a favorite game. Never really had one before.
That’s too simple, you could subtract everything adult from the furry fandom and quite a lot would remain. If you did the same to an actual fetish-based community you’d have little left, if anything.
Furries like anthropomorphic animals in multiple ways. People tend to focus on (and scandalize) the sexual part when sometimes it’s just cute, funny or invokes all sorts of other feelings. It’s a full-spectrum interest.

Oh man, ich habe das völlig falsch gelesen und dachte sie reagiert permanent irgendwo mit dem Kacke-Emoji auf die freundlichen Beiträge anderer Leute.

Except minus the cute duck, of course. At least nobody will take it too serious, and those that do will probably see why they shouldn’t.
Still annoying though.

The majority of users is likely still male anyway.

It’s a thing kids say to taunt each other, “girls go to college to get more knowledge, boys go to Jupiter, to get more stupider”.
kshade@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Why is the manosphere on the rise? UN Women sounds the alarm over online misogynyEnglish2·2 months agoI’m past 40 and while in my head I still consider myself progressive, I used to show it much more when I was younger. I was honest about my insecurities, I would try not to take up too much space as a man, would try to split responsibilities equally, and so on. At every turn this has caused me problems in relationships, not least with my wife of 10 years who left me for some muscular macho guy because she “doesn’t feel like I can take care of her”.
It always seems to come down to traditional gender roles being dehumanizing. Men traditionally aren’t allowed to be “weak”, women traditionally aren’t allowed to be “strong” (but there’s been some work done on that). It took me a while to fully internalize (not just know) that, first and foremost, both are people with all the complexities that come with that. I personally would rather die alone than live every day in fear that I’m not pretending well enough to fit a stereotype. I’m probably over-dramatizing though, just really can’t stand stereotyping.

“Oh wow, those scumbags really stole all that worthless, sentimental stuff before they ran into us? Serves 'em right then.”
Almost 40 here, I feel the same. Some things evolve, some things get replaced and some mostly stay the same, but the worst is when it feels stagnant or even decaying. That’s worse than actual loss in some ways.
