radiouser@crazypeople.onlineto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever cried because of a video game?9·3 days agoBraid’s ending.
Tim (the player) is likely the villain. His quest was never about saving the princess but about his own selfish desire to reclaim something/someone that no longer wants him. The game masterfully subverts expectations, making players reflect on perspective, responsibility, and consequences.
you queue up all you like boss…
I love the self checkout. No bullshit small talk, no customers stood right behind you breathing down your neck and I can pack my shit without feeling better rushed. to me that’s invaluable…
Lol, OP is this in the UK? I have a feeling it might.

radiouser@crazypeople.onlineOPto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•Steam Deck Background recording (hell!)2·1 month agoAh, I see. So the issue is on Valves end? I’ll probably give it a few more weeks/a month or two. Hopefully Valve would have addressed this by then. Thanks for your help and time.
Maaaaaan, I’ve been holding this in for almost 3 decades and it’s time to vent lol…
When I was in
middle-school(lol) primary school we were doing a quiz on space and the Earth and I recall the question: how long is a year?I’d remember reading in my “Magic School Bus” book that a year is closer to ~365.25 (that’s where we get the extra day in the leap years) and the class and teacher mocked me for not putting 365. I’m still salty about it!
The intervention for Chris was top 5 funniest moments in Sopranos for sure.

radiouser@crazypeople.onlineto Games@lemmy.world•The 'Stop Killing Games' initiative is close to its final deadline, and after that, its leader is understandably done: 'Either the frog hops out of the pot, or it's dead'English111·2 months agoThey certainly didn’t conduct themselves in a polite or persuasive manner during their argument(s). As others have said in this thread: he has attacked everything but the topic and when they did they (purposefully) seemed very confused about the overall goal and desire of the campaign.
Is this a case of being wrong about your initial conclusions and doubling down? Or is this a bad actor spreading purposeful misinformation? Going by the video alone it’s hard to see an alternative.
