wouldn’t you need to do ‘hail sized pea, hail sized baseball’ etc? otherwise you are comparing the size of hail to other objects, rather than other objects to hail

skye@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•My mom tells me I should cut dad off for cheating on her, am I a bad person for not wanting to do so?61·2 months agoNo one is excusing an affair. People are merely trying to help OOP navigate an emotionally complex situation: wanting to keep contact with their father despite the circumstances, and wondering if their mother’s actions are justifiable or not.
You can do whatever you want, but that does not absolve you of consequences.
I only gave you genuine advice, taking breaks/disengaging is helpful. I cannot force you, ofcourse, there’s only so much I can do.
So please consider above, and have a nice day
skye@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•My mom tells me I should cut dad off for cheating on her, am I a bad person for not wanting to do so?152·2 months agoIf you are this allergic to nuance, I recommend staying away from threads that require logical/rational breakdowns of heavily-emotional topics.
You can’t just jump the gun (having fun blowing up families) about someone just because they answered OOPs question in an impartial manner.
So if you seriously cannot engage with this topic without resuming to attacks, I implore you to take a step back, reasess, and move on to something else.
but there are arguments
I suppose it’s meant to represent the colour of gold
“better detailed” doesn’t necessarily mean “better art” …
Art being fidel to reality is it’s own subset of art movement, called realism. Many people appreciate it as “wow this is so close to real life/so much effort”, but then if you ask people what they think the greatest artworks are they might bring any artist. Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Dalí, Picasso, Pollock, etc.
So no, just because something is closer to real life does not make it “objectively the best art” in the broader sense of art. Maybe you can measure that when pit against other realism pieces, which sre not as faithful to real life.
we should all go back to our exotic roots on a beach, duh
1 if its very cold, otherwise pick randomly between 4,5, 19 or 20
I suppose it depends on the building, where I went to vote (and most places i’ve seen in live coverages) just had plain blueish curtains
I’m left handed and I’ve always used keyboard (wasd) with my left hand, and mouse with my right hand
- 1 is also nice, every other choice is heresy.

So yes, a bicycle is a vehicle. Arguably legs/the body are also a vehicle for you.
but then in french what changes is you say “a woman is someone who makes ovules” and then someone replies with a photo of a cow/sheep/monkey and say “this is a woman”
