I’m honestly not up to date on Colombian politics but I knew this guy was a scumbag from this quote in the article.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a post on X that he was “deeply saddened” by the death.
“The United States stands in solidarity with his family, the Colombian people, both in mourning and demanding justice for those responsible,” said Rubio.
Just the simple refusal to allow Colombia to be a 2nd front in an American war on Venezuela is a massive help.

The one that annoys me is in astronomy when someone describes a star as being X times the size of the Sun. Diameter? Volume? Mass? What’s being compared here?
As the climate change apocalypse unfolds, I’m finding it increasingly hard to look at any issue without immediately thinking of how climate change is going to affect that issue before I look at any other factors or effects. I’m also finding it harder to care about any issue where, no matter a negative or positive outcome, the local area where the issue is happening will be unlivable in a decade or two.
