    Brave to post this on Lemmy lol.

    I get the point and there is validity to it. But on the other hand I get very grumpy at people who look at the state of the world and think “yeah, this is as good as it can ever be”.

    It’s good to discuss, explore, and test alternatives, even if they are unproven. That’s how we keep moving forward.

      Yeah on the whole my thoughts are… it’s probably not the utopia people want it to be… but I think it’s clear… what we have right now is pretty undeniably horrific. The whole concept of a single individual literally having more than millions of people put together, while billions are sweating whether they will keep basic necesities is so insane to me.

        And it’s still better than a nuclear holocaust, which I have seen people root for so their specific ideology will take hold.

      Brave? Nah, it’s all made up and the points don’t matter.

      Besides, I personally love it when my politics are memed well, and those that don’t care for my shitposting can always block :)
