  • Voted for Republicans to hurt minorities and voted for sick leave. The Republicans got in and are trying to hurt minorities and them.

There was no other reason to vote for Republicans other than to hurt minorities. 58% was the number of voters for Trump.

So the economic policy was to increase tarrifs to increase costs on their purchases, and make it to be harder to sell their products.

Missouri’s main exports are machines going to East Asia and Soybeans.

The soybean industry got fucked by tariffs last time and tarrifs on Eastern Asia were what Trump ran on so it all but guaranteed issues selling machines there.

So they weren’t voting him in for economic reasons. They voted him in to hurt minorities.

  • Unfortunately the student loans fall into a category of you’re fucked, so the government can make deductions from people’s paychecks automatically without them having a say. So a teenager can sign themselves up for mountains of debt, fuck their credit for possible decades and wind themselves up stuck in an economy where they can’t find a job in their field and can’t pay back their loans so they are stuck doing entry level work in a field they don’t want to be in, with minimal money to show for it as the money is taken out beforehand. So maybe they can start a 30 year mortgage on their first house when they are 55, work till 75 and if they are lucky pay it off early so it doesn’t get confiscated by the bank and all equity gone so they can’t afford retirement and nothing passes down to their kids but the debt of paying for their funeral.

  • So as someone who’s mid 30s and was proscribed contacts at 18 and had one blow back into my eye while on a motorcycle, then another crack (probably from my misuse) and irritate my eye real bad, and just give up on wearing anything. At what age would you say I should draw a hard line of making sure I get something so my eyes will adapt properly. I still passed the eye test at the DMV, but it’s gotta be close. Somehow I don’t think my distance has gotten worse from 18-35 because I can still read text on street signs and captions on TVs.

Just figured I’d ask because your talk about 42 vs 60 adapting to lenses, or if I could just keep ignoring it and adapt when I do get glasses eventually.

  • Was that steam version downloaded through steam? Aka is it a different installer, or did you install in steam using the non-steam game option. (Just trying to verify it’s a different installer, don’t do the install again if it’s 2 seperate install packs you installed from)

Steam installs in a different location than Lutris as well, so it shouldn’t be the specific folder not having permissions. I assume Steam user Proton by default as well while Lutris likely defaulted to Wine.

Grr… this is going to be something stupid and frustrating for you.

Edit: I checked my location (you will have to modify it to fit your install path, my username was mint on this machine, so keep that in mind) /home/mint/Games/sims/drive_c/users/mint Then I’d check that Documents folder (Where I am hoping the permissions got botched) and if those are right check the EA and The Sims 4 folders drilling down until you check the save folder in /home/mint/Games/sims/drive_c/users/mint/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 (if you followed down the rabbit hole you are already there.

If that all looks good honestly I don’t know why it would be acting so strange after using 2 separate installers.
