Lol. “I organized and fought back, so now what has already happened is magically not my responsibility anymore”? What kind of magical thinking is this?
So you want every single one American who looked around and said “this is fucked, we should never be doing anything like this” to suffer. For something they never even agreed with. Just like so many people around you
Tell me: what fucking good end does this serve, huh?
Uhm. Military following illegal and obviously traitorous orders is way bigger a problem, because whoever gave this order is not going to outlive the military and how they function
Ima just quote another message from related posts: what does this even mean in response to my message “if soldiers coming back from a war is the only thing that can trigger changes in a country, that’s not a well-functioning society”?
Which does not sound good at all
Let me guess… so, are Russians bad because of all the horror the state is doing or should there be no revolution because everything is ok?
Uhm, but Russians and Koreans have all this figured out, but they are so evil they just don’t do anything. That or me having seen zero of this kind of post about these countries is a pure fucking mystery

Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•What problems does Linux have to overcome to get more users44·3 days agoactually, MUST NOT. The moment I see “this is immutable, all things are flatpack/snap/etc.”, I am out, and not because of being a dev myself
Chingada madre!
(Jackie, Cyberpunk 2077. See you in major leagues, my dear friend)
You guessed wrong. I think blaming any kind of -isms and not looking at what exactly is going wrong and what to do to make things better won’t land anyone in a better place
Because these only happen in capitalism. Yeah, sure. Wanna buy a bridge?
Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•nobody in webdev knows what graceful degradation is anymoreEnglish12·14 days agoI am saying it is about greed because it actually is, since I am yet to see a situation where the ultimate filter for supporting/dropping a client is NOT revenue from people using that client, and here I am talking specifically about companies making money on their product, so no open source, subsidised, hobby projects etc.
Peole love to rant online
They do, now try to catch precisely me doing this
Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•nobody in webdev knows what graceful degradation is anymoreEnglish11·15 days agoExpand this, please. I am sure I did not get you
Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•nobody in webdev knows what graceful degradation is anymoreEnglish12·16 days agoIt can be fixed: we can choose to produce less idiots and more caring people. You are right, of course, that it is not the only thing we should be doing
Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•nobody in webdev knows what graceful degradation is anymoreEnglish33·16 days agoWhat should be fixed is people. The above described logic is true, it does really happen, and behind it is the idiot desire: to get more money. Not to make a better thing, not to make someone’s life better, not to build something worthwhile - in other words, nothing that could get me out of bed in the morning. When that’s the kind of desires fueling most companies and societies, all things will be going in all kinds of wrong ways
Shanmugha@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•nobody in webdev knows what graceful degradation is anymoreEnglish7·16 days agoYeah, it should also work without browser exactly as it does with a browser
Because suspend/resume is a feature so widely used I have went decades before seeing one person who actually cares about this one?
My statement:
I am saying that when Russia went fucking around folk at Lemmy judged whole nation, but now that US stepped in the same direction, suddenly they remembered that state is not same as people and that going against state takes a lot of organized effort. Wow, what a fucking surprise
