I’m gonna go in a little bit further on that because I feel like there might actually be some merit here.

He was a fully grown man, no girlfriends, who lived alone by himself, which apparently is fairly common. I understand, he worked hard, he died, and he turns out reincarnation is real, and what does he get reincarnated as, but as the lowest form of life on the planet, a slime. A creature meant to be one-shotted by anything that it comes into contact with.

And by extreme happenstance, he ends up in the one place where he can become immeasurably powerful.

Despite that, and everything that happens throughout the entire series, he is unable to have sex. He has no sexual desire whatsoever.

He is essentially neuter for his entire existence.

So even though he’s become a demon, and that was his advancement, like, hello, you’re already kind of doing not-so-great if you become a demon as part of your daily experience. Um… But despite even becoming a demon, and becoming one of the great demon lords, he’s still asexual, sexless, unable to sleep with any of the beautiful women that surround him.

Kinda sounds like the gods or the universe or whatever meant to kick off a 10,000 year cycle of punishment and like made a mistake along the way or something.

  • Ok, that makes sense.

Racial purity ethos is just racism, lol, and I say that as a card-carrying registered member of a Lakota tribe where the racial purity of every single person is tracked, seven generations back, and it’s close to the point where we have to have a register to know who you can and cannot date based on how closely you are related.

I’m kind of confused by this.

If he’s saying country over race, then yeah, sure I get it, but like, we know for a fact that there are biologically pure black Africans who are 100% human, no crossbreeding between Denisovians or Homo erectus or Neanderthal.

We also know that there are Native Americans and Chinese people who have been directly descended from the originals, humans, or whenever we could possibly trace their genetic lines back to for thousands of years.

So, like on the one hand, I understand we should put our society above our genetic heritage, especially in a mixed society like America.

We’ll have to work together if we want to get anywhere, after all.

But if you have to deny the racial heritage of several of the groups that make up America in order to get your point across, that doesn’t really seem like it’s going to be a winner for me.

Like, what am I not understanding here?

Am I overthinking things? Or is there something that I’ve missed?

Yeah, I think with a minor revision, that one would be okay. Just like, if you’re a stay-at-home mom or something, when your husband gets home, holler out to him, greet him, let him know where you are, you know, let him know he’s welcome to be home, something like that.

My ex-wife was a stay-at-home wife, and when I got home she would say, “Hey” to me and it was nice to be greeted when I got home.
