I’m debating Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Both are super cheap without DLC and pretty cheap with the DLC. I’ve owned both historically back in the day but neither survived and apparently I didn’t get them on steam back then. The DLCs would really be interesting at this point but I am so cheap I can’t convince myself
Also, do desert nomads have 110 gallons of water to use just for cooking?
That’s my favorite on most foods. For Mexican I go with Valentina and for Asian food I go with Sriracha

I doubt I’d be customizing firmware in the Pinetime so I’m thinking Bangle.js might be a better option.
My use case is mostly around walking/running tracking and maybe heart rate checks. I don’t think I really care about much integration with my phone
gac11@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•My dearest Lemmy, what is the appliance you have the most beef with?1·3 months agoYeah we turned ours off and do ice trays. But I wish we just got one without ice.
I might have to try a countertop maker. Good idea!
gac11@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•My dearest Lemmy, what is the appliance you have the most beef with?3·3 months agoI have a Samsung that I passionately despise. While it seems to cool fine, they designed an ice maker that either fails and leaks or jams itself with ice so it renders itself unusable.
If I paid a premium price, why can’t I just get a modest functional ice maker?
Is it by physical volume or number of partners?
gac11@lemmy.worldto Cooking @lemmy.world•[QUESTION] What are your go-to meal-prep solutions?3·4 months agoI’ve been roasting pork butts in the oven for pulled pork. Rub the butt with whatever rub you want - I use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder so it’s neutral. Let sit uncovered in fridge overnight to dry out a bit. Roast at 275F for about 12-14 hours. It comes out great and is usable in all sorts of things.

Got it free on GOG a while back from Amazon Prim gaming. It a pretty fun puzzle game. I have had to look up a few puzzles because I was stumped, but generally trying to work my way through it without help
