Ok but step 1 has been thoroughly explored and this administration didn’t delay their agenda for a second. Step 2 requires massive legal reform tandem with a functional judiciary, given that profit, capital, and power consolidation are what they seek. Unfortunately they’re winning that battle as the judiciary and legal system are only degrading despite public outcry.
I’m not a power user but I’m petty happy with my basic arch/KDE Plasma 6/wayland setup. It does its best to do absolutely nothing more than i ask it to which really just means it stays the fuck out of my way and doesn’t bother me. It’s perfect.

Arch will take several hours to setup. If you want plug and play then avoid it.see comment replies - If you want to commit to it the wiki is quite easy to work through for the install process and post install troubleshooting help is top notch. Also always check the homepage before doing system updates.

I’m lamenting that Khan Academy had such a system in the past but it looks discontinued for a seemingly less useful one-and-done approach. Just throwing out the idea about gaps in knowledge in case.
One option would be to find additional textbooks. I believe my math courses used an open source one.
